This interactive timeline was commissioned by the WHO to clearly show how they responded (and have been responding) to the COVID-19 outbreak since the first alert in December 2019. This timeline shows the number of cases by region over time layered with responses by WHO across a variety of categories. The user can easily navigate across time as well as filter responses by categories and click on responses to learn more.
