This single-page scrolling piece commissioned by Totaljobs tells the story of how and why so many of us feel like imposters at work. A survey of two thousand UK workers was analysed using to find the most engaging and representative stories. Due to the scale of the data, Python was used to create functions that helped speed up the analysis and explore a wider array of potential stories. The most interesting data stories were then moulded into a compelling narrative supported with clean, simple data visualisations that draw on the aesthetics of optical illusions and the idea of blending in or standing out.
